Secondary Users: Field Maintenance Engineers
Constraints:
Hardware-Software Mirroring: Synchronizing the L6Q’s physical feedback with Mobile Companion’s digital walkthrough to create a unified mental model for the user.
Environmental Variables: Solving for physical constraints including radar alignment, variable power modes (Solar, Battery, etc.), and varying outdoor conditions.
Fleet Scalability: Designing intuitive maintenance workflows and "at-a-glance" health alerts to support the management of large-scale device deployments.
Impact: By integrating the L6Q hardware with a mobile-focused setup wizard, the design supports a one-person deployment process that can be completed quickly. The coordinated ecosystem reduces the technical overhead for configuration, allowing personnel to activate their camera efficiently and accurately.
